Driving the Inclusion Revolution

Guardians of the Flame

A worldwide foundation of Law Enforcement employees, The Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) is the largest grassroots awareness and fundraising vehicle for Special Olympics.

We help to provide opportunities for inclusion and improved quality of life for children and adults with intellectual disabilities through support for Special Olympics programs and championing fundraising initiatives.

With more than 1.9 million athletes in 35 countries, Special Olympics programs in the Asia Pacific region are expanding rapidly. Across the region, our goal is to promote respect, inclusion and human dignity for people with intellectual disabilities through sport.

A Flicker of Hope

100% of workplace giving is taken back into the
program to support athletes

Torch Run in the Oceania region has existed since 2004.

Until now, it has been operated by volunteers and funded by police members contributing through workplace giving programs and donations.

We recognise that to touch more lives, we need to do things better by strengthening operations (the way we do business) and reaching out to generate much-needed funds for Special Olympics.

This will then provide further opportunities for our Special Olympics athletes on and off the field, through education and employment opportunities.

Become a champion of the Inclusion Revolution.
